Creative Crafts Using Old Magazines

Decorative bowls

via Creative Cynchronicity

If you just don’t know what to do with old magazines, why not use the pages to make a bowl? A DIY magazine page bowl is perfect for holding keys, hair accessories, loose change, and other small objects. Plus, this craft relieves stress because you get to rip the pages out of old magazines.

Picture frames

via Fine Craft Guild

Add some color to an old picture frame using old magazine pages. Just cut magazine pages into strips, roll them up, and glue them to the base of the frame. So easy!

Paper flowers

via Rock and Roll Bride

Real flowers fade and die in a few days, but paper flowers will last forever! And if you’re allergic to real flowers, paper ones are the way to go. Rock and Roll Bride shows us how to make a bouquet of flowers that will last long after the honeymoon.

Jewelry

via Dragonfly Designs

One of my favorite crafts using old magazines is paper beading. You’d never know the beads were made from old magazine pages! You can make earrings, bracelets, and necklaces just by rolling up paper. It’s the perfect rainy day craft, too!

Coasters

via The Sunny Studio

Need a coaster to protect your tables from water stains? Why not make them yourself using old magazines? Coasters are a great way to recycle old magazines!

Wreath

via Addicted 2 Decorating

I love a fun and unique wreath and this one from Addicted 2 Decorating is just that! She used about 3 magazines to create a beautiful wreath for her home. What a great way to repurpose old magazines!

Silhouette Wall Art

via Little Stuff

This bear silhouette wall art Little Stuff made from old magazines is so cute! You could create any animal or shape you wanted to match your home decor and spruce up your walls.

What about you? How do you repurpose old magazines? Do you have any favorite crafts using old magazines?
