Learn how to create a beautiful and simple grapevine wreath for Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I thought I would go ahead and start sharing some pretty DIY’s with you.
I’m not really a fan of Valentine’s Day – I’ve never understood the big fuss over it. However, I do love the soft pinks and blushes that are associated with the day.
And the chocolate, of course!
When it comes to decorating for Valentine’s Day, I just keep things simple. Which is why I created this simple grapevine wreath for Valentine’s Day!

Last year, I made some really easy no-sew fabric hearts for Valentine’s Day. These fabric hearts make great bowl fillers, but this year I decided to add them to an old grapevine wreath I’ve had laying around forever.
Let me show you how I made this super simple grapevine wreath with the fabric hearts.
The first thing you want to do is make the easy no-sew hearts. After the hearts are complete, take a piece of floral wire and thread it through the back of the fabric hearts. Bend the wire slightly so that it will fit around the grapevine wreath easily.
After the floral wire has been threaded through the back of the fabric hearts, place the hearts on the wreath wherever you want them to go. I put mine on the left side of the wreath towards the bottom.
When you find the perfect spot for your fabric hearts, wrap the floral wire around the wreath and twist it in the back to secure it.
Next, gather your raffia together and tie it around the grapevine wreath above the fabric hearts.
I just tied mine around the wreath without a bow. However, you can create a bow if you wish. Mine is just a simple grapevine wreath – nothing too fancy here.
The last thing you have to do to your simple grapevine wreath is to hang it up!
I couldn’t decide where I wanted to put my wreath, so I kept moving it around until I found the perfect spot. The wreath looked pretty in the dining room window, but my cat wanted to jump up and play with the raffia. So I had to move it to the living room wall.
For some reason, I just didn’t like the way the wreath looked against the brick, so I moved it to the bathroom door.
Finally I find the perfect spot for my simple grapevine wreath. It looked perfect on the door, so that’s where it will stay!
