Mother’s Day is coming quickly and since many stores are closed this year there’s no time to shop last minute. Why not make something for mom instead? Here are 6 quick and easy DIY’s you can make for Mother’s Day.
Mother’s Day is this weekend here in the USA. With the situation we’re going through right now most stores are closed. That makes it very difficult to shop last minute.
When was the last time you made something for your mom? Elementary school?
Do you remember what it was?
Making Mom a handmade gift isn’t just for kids. Adults can get in on the fun and special memories, too.
And I bet Mom will love it!
Here’s some quick and easy DIY’s for Mother’s Day that you can make yourself!
Instead of giving mom a bouquet of flowers in a vase, think outside the box and put them in a vintage mailbox instead. You can easily upcycle an old mailbox that you have laying around collecting dust. Just give the mailbox a fresh coat of paint and fill it with flowers for a quick and easy DIY for Mother’s Day.
Give mom something to freshen up her bedroom drawers or linen closet this year. Make her a lavender-scented drawer sachet! And don’t worry if you can’t sew – there’s no sewing involved with this DIY!
No-Sew Lavender-Scented Drawer Sachet
If you prefer to give mom flowers in a vase, try this farmhouse mason jar vase. Give a mason jar a coat or 2 of paint and fill it with flowers! This is such a quick and easy DIY for Mother’s Day and it will look like it came from a high-end store.
Create a cute little flower pot for mom with a funny saying on a tiny sign! Mom will adore this cactus flower pot idea. More than likely she could use a good laugh right now.
Can’t Touch This Cactus Flower Pot
Similar to the drawer sachet, the hanging sachet is perfect for freshening up closets. Make one for Mom using her favorite color and her favorite scent!
Gel air fresheners are so easy to make and you probably have the ingredients right in your own kitchen. Personalize it just for Mom with her favorite color and scent!
However, if you’re not creative or don’t want to make DIY’s for Mother’s Day, here’s a suggested list of ideas for you. (*affiliate links)
