Back in the summer I grabbed a few glass milk bottles from our local Dollar Tree. I’m really glad I did because like the mini Christmas trees, these little milk bottles are really hard to find now!
This project only took me a few minutes to put together and is super easy to make!
Let me show you how to make these cute farmhouse Christmas jars from Dollar Tree milk bottles.

Give the glass milk bottle a coat or two of white paint. I did two coats on mine because I used the craft paint. Make sure to let them dry really well before applying a second coat. The picture below is after one coat of paint.
After the paint is dry, you can use sandpaper to go around the circle and the wording if you would like. I wanted mine to be all white, so I chose not to do this.
Once completely dry, tie a ribbon around the top and insert your pine needs, cones, berries, or whatever you would like to put in your farmhouse Christmas jar.
I told you these little jars were simple to make! I just love how they turned out.
Here’s how I displayed them on my dining room table:
The glass jar with the deer and snow inside was also a quick little project I put together. For this I used a deer figure from a Dollar Tree village set that I got years ago. The “snow” also came from Dollar Tree and the glass was a candle from Bath and Body Works.
Remember my fall candle holder? Well, I used the same base for that to display my winter scene on. (If you’re new here, click the link to see how I made the base.)
The vase I used on my farmhouse tray came from Walmart a few years ago. I just added some Christmas tree stems to use as the greenery.
That’s it! A super simple farmhouse Christmas display for my dining room table.

Super cute and so easy! I love glass milk jars. I remember back in the day when a milkman actually existed!
Thank you!! We actually still have a milkman. A few years ago a dairy opened and not too long after they started delivering milk. They have the best ice cream! ?
Oh how nice! I don't think anything like that exists in my area, sadly.
Love them!!!!! You just keep coming up with so many cute and simple ideas!
Thank you so much!! ?
Great project Michelle! Have never seen those milk bottles around here, but other bottles or jars would work too I guess. Thanks for all these great ideas! Also, I nominated you for the Mystery Blogger award https://stevescountry.com/2019/12/12/mystery-blogger-award-7

Oh wow I just love the way this looks, love the jars, I like them with them paint but I also like them clear as they are. Great idea, I also like what you filled them with. Thank you :)
Thank you so much! I love them clear, too. I also love that you can use them year round, just changing the contents inside. :)
