Looking for the perfect after school snack? These pizza pockets are quick and easy to make and delicious, too!

Sometimes I need a quick lunch idea or a quick snack to make for my starving tween daughter. Lunches can get kind of boring around my house since usually it’s a quick sandwich and some chips. Some days I actually take the time to preheat the oven for a corndog or two.

Pizza pockets solve the boring lunch problem and also make the perfect quick and easy snack!

Pizza Pockets Recipe

What you need:

  • Tube of refrigerated pizza dough (like Pillsbury)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Shredded pizza cheese, or shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Oregano (optional)

What you do:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Lay the pizza dough out and roll it out with a rolling pin. Cut the dough into 6 slices.

Add about a Tablespoon of pizza sauce to each square.

On top of the sauce, layer the cheese and the pepperoni slices. You can also add some oregano, too.

Fold the pizza dough over to make a triangle and seal the edges with a fork. (I didn’t seal mine with a fork so mine turned into a mess. Oops!)

Bake the pizza pockets for about 15 minutes or so, or until golden brown.

Now you have a quick and easy recipe to add to your weekly menu! These pizza pockets are so good and kid approved! You can add whatever toppings you would like and in about 20 minutes you’ve got yourself a delicious meal.

What other toppings would you add?
